The Hemet Sheriff’s Activities League (SAL) also known as the “PAL” program was established approximately 4 years ago to provide supervised recreational activities to children living in the unincorporated area of the Sheriff’s Department, Hemet Station patrol jurisdiction.

The patrol jurisdiction includes the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley and thirteen surrounding communities.

Hemet SAL aims to establish and develop a strong positive relationship among youth, police and the community.

SAL’s goals are to provide alternatives to gangs, drugs and other criminal activities through a vast array of supervised recreational and educational programs. The Police and Sheriff Activities League have proven to be one of the most successful juvenile crime prevention and intervention programs in California and is fully endorsed and supported by numerous county, state and federal government officials.
