KEVIN LYNN DUFFY August 17, 1957 ~ January 25, 2009 Was born in Inglewood and was a resident of Hemet for the last 31 years. Kevin began his service to the community as an EMT at Hemet Valley Ambulance in the late 70's. His career in law enforcement began in 1977 as a Reserve Officer for the San Jacinto Police Department and ended with a distinguished and honored 29 years as a Senior Investigator with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Kevin developed and implemented the Sheriff's Activities League which provided a positive outlet for many of the valley's youth. Kevin was married for 24 years to his beloved wife, Patti Duffy and was a loving father to Patrick of Deerfield, IL; Kerry of Chicago, IL; Kristen of Los Angeles, CA; and Brett of Hemet, CA. He was the proud grandfather to Patrick Nicholas and Melina. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hemet. Please remember Kevin by making donations to the academic scholarship fund for his minor child, Brett Tyler Duffy, at Bank of Hemet.
